Icewulf's Christmas 2004

This poem is for all you ladies and gents who have been with me this past year. My thanks to all of you for putting up with me.

Icewulf's Christmas 2004
-=icewulf=-

The twelfth moon casts its shadow
The party has begun.
Around me lights start to flicker
And shine brightly as the sun!
Music fills my ears,
His Highness` birthday is close at hand.
I exclaim t the world
Oh joy to every man!

In the height of the celebration
I pull back to my corner.
And shed a little tear.
A tear for those I miss
And wish could be right here.

Soon I go back to celebrate
And beam my brightest smile
I thank His Highness for the blessings
For walking with me every mile!

As the music fades,
I turn to leave the celebration.
And retreat into His chapel
I feel his presence in the room
And shed one more tear as I pray alone.

"Your highness I shed this tear in thanksgiving
for a great gift worthy of all jubilation.
The gift of a friend I found in a person,
The one to whom I give this poem."
